A complete list of cleaning and safety protocols and building modification is available at www.licm.org/covid-19.

  1. All visitors age 24 mos. and older are strongly recommended to wear masks (please bring your own) while on Museum property. Because children under 5 are not eligible for vaccines, we will model the behavior required of them. Visitors who don’t comply with this safety regulation will be asked to leave. Thank you for helping protect our community’s children.
  2. Adults will not be permitted in the Museum without children. All Museum visitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  3. Signs and other cues in and around the building will encourage visitors to practice safe distancing

By visiting LICM, you and your guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.  An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Friendly Hours allow families of children with disabilities to experience the Children’s Museum at a time when there are fewer visitors. By limiting attendance and reducing sound and lighting levels, a supportive environment is created to allow guests to fully enjoy the Museum’s exhibits.

Free museum admission is provided during these hours; pre-registration is required.
