We have put into place enhanced health & safety measures for you, our other guests and the Museum staff. A complete list of cleaning and safety protocols and building modification is available at

  1. The museum will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  2. All visitors, including museum members, must reserve tickets in advance for a specific day and time ($14 per person for non-members. Free for members.)
  3. All visitors age 24 mos. and older must wear masks (please bring your own)
  4. Signs and other cues in and around the building will encourage visitors to practice safe distancing

By visiting LICM, you and your guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Friendly Hours allow families of children with special needs to experience the Children’s Museum at a time when there are fewer visitors. By limiting attendance and reducing sound and lighting levels, a supportive environment is created to allow guests to fully enjoy the Museum’s exhibits.

Free museum admission is provided during these hours; pre-registration is required.
